Spray with Dimethoate 30EC @ 1.7 ml or <a href=\"https:\/\/cropinfo.in\/agriinfo\/crop-protection\/insecticides\/imidacloprid\/\">Imidacloprid<\/a> 17.8 SL @ 0.2 ml\/ltr. of water.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Stemfly:<\/span> The maggot enters the tender stem and scrapes inside and the plants dry up. Spray the crop with <a href=\"https:\/\/cropinfo.in\/agriinfo\/crop-protection\/insecticides\/thiamethoxam\/\">Thiomethoxam<\/a> 25WG @ 0.3g\/ltr. of water at 10 and 20 days after sowing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Podborer:<\/span> It infests the pod and eats the tender seed inside the pod. Spray the crop with <a href=\"https:\/\/cropinfo.in\/agriinfo\/crop-protection\/insecticides\/chlorpyriphos\/\">Chlorpyriphos<\/a> 20 EC @ 2ml \/ ltr. of water.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Diseases:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Root rot and leaf blight:<\/span> The root will dry up in case of root rot, due to leaf blight there will be patches on the leaf. Treat the seeds with Carbendazim @ 2g or Trichoderma @ 4g per kg seed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Powdery mildew:<\/span> There will be white mycelial growth on the lower leaves in the early stage of crop growth. Spray the crop with 1 ml <a href=\"https:\/\/cropinfo.in\/agriinfo\/crop-protection\/fungicides\/hexaconazole\/\">Hexaconazole<\/a> 5 EC \/ ltr. of water.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Cercospora leaf spot:<\/span> There will be brownish patches on the leaves.
